Community service learning provides students with active learning experiences which enhance classroom instructional activities. Through course-relevant community service experiences students engage in real-life application of knowledge while addressing community needs. Service learning at CSUSM reflects an institutional commitment to incorporate student community service experiences within the academic curriculum.
