- Lawrence Wilson Art Gallery Exhibition - Sydney Nolan : Myth and History

A significant groups of works on paper from the Collection reveals how Nolan utilised the series format as a narrative device to investigate landscape asa site for the production of myth and history. It also shows Nolan's use of Australian history and European myth through his develpment of major themes, including Ned Kelly, Burke and Wills, the Miner, the Australian landscape and Leda and the Swan.
